What’s your team’s superpower?
Not their job title. Not their resume. Not the skill that got them hired.
I’m talking about the hidden superpower—the thing they do effortlessly, the talent that lights them up, the gift that others constantly benefit from (often without realizing it).
✨ Maybe it’s the calm they bring in chaos.✨ Maybe it’s how they translate vision into action.✨ Maybe it’s the way they build trust in every room.
The truth is: most of us are walking around with untapped superpowers, hidden beneath job descriptions, org charts, and “urgent priorities.” That’s true for both individual contributors and leaders.
As a Leader, Ask Yourself:
Do I know my team’s real strengths—not just their roles?
Have I created space for those gifts to show up?
What hidden brilliance is going unused right now?
And If You’re an Individual Contributor:
What’s your superpower that isn’t on your resume?
Where in your current role could you bring more of it?
Who else on your team could benefit if you activated it?
Here’s the Kicker
True potential isn’t something given or created for you. It’s something unlocked within you—and supported by your environment.
It starts with awareness. It grows with permission. It thrives with trust and clarity.
Your Prompt This Week
What’s your superpower—and how might the world benefit if you used it more boldly at work?
Special thanks to Molly Dennen for sparking this concept with me!
